Set up a course and a project
Create the container your students' work lives in.
A project lives inside a course. Set up the course first, then add a project to it.
Create the course
- 1Open Courses from the sidebar and choose to add a course.
- 2Give it a course name and a course code.
- 3Create the course. You can add projects now, or create the course now and add them later by hand.
Add a project
A project needs an outcome, a timeline, and milestones. You can shape one yourself, or start from a real business need (see the next article). Either way, the outcome and milestones are what students deliver against and what eventually gets verified.
Tip
You can bring in a real organization as the sponsor now, or shape the project first and add a sponsor later. A project produces verified evidence for the student either way; a sponsor adds the second, outcome signature.
