Approve employer partners
Choose which organizations your institution stands behind as partners.
Organizations verify themselves before they can publish projects to students. Approving one as a partner is a further step your institution takes: it lets that organization find your students who chose to be discoverable (and only yours), and shows a Verified employer badge on its roles.
How to approve
- 1Open Partners from the sidebar.
- 2Find the organization. Partners lists every organization you work with, including ones that signed up on their own and posted a project your classes took on. Any of them with at least one person on Practica can be approved.
- 3Approve the ones that are a genuine fit for your students. You can revoke an approval later, with a reason.
An organization also becomes your partner automatically when one of your professors verifies work on a project it sponsored, unless you revoked it before. Revoking affects only your school. Either way, the only organizations that can search your students are ones your institution stands behind.
Tip
Approval is a real editorial decision, not a formality. The trust in a student's record partly rests on it, so approve the partners you would be comfortable seeing named next to your students' names.
